The openings shows one of the most famous streets in Robin Hoods Bay. featuring a characterful, acute angled house with unique corner windows. The sun is breaking through the houses, highlighting the path leading up some steps to a hidden street beyond. The use of bright peachy, and yellow tones, contrasted against long purple shadows. Creating an atmospheric sunset. It gives the viewer a sense that they want to go and explore further.
 
The openings was hand drawn digitally using procreate, an ipad and apple pencil. It is printed on 310gsm Hahnemühle German Etching cotton paper, using Giclée fine art printing. The Giclée printing process uses the highest-quality pigment-based inks ahcieving bold, true to life colours in exquisite detail.
